I grew up in San Luis Obispo, CA. My mother sold health insurance and my father sold boilers and heat exchangers. I have 5 sisters. I attended Cal Poly for undergrad and Touro-CA for Medical School. I completed a residency program in Internal Medicine in Corvallis, OR, and worked as a hospitalist for about 4 years in Eugene, OR before returning home.
I met my wife Lara in Pismo Beach at a Tattoo parlor in 1996. We were married in 2003 in Cambria, CA. We have two beautiful children, Devin and Grace.
I am currently working as a hospitalist at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA and at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital.
