Now that I’m 40 inches, I can go on roller coasters! Today I went on Thunder Mountain, Gadget’s Go Coaster, and Splash Mountain! When each one was done, I told Mommy and Daddy “AWESOME!”
I also got to meet Woody and Jessie, and I told Jessie “You’re pretty”. That made her blush!
Devin memorized the book “Where is my mother?” by P.D. Eastman. This clip shows him reciting a few pages.
Devin loves ’em – and you will too!
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup milk
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
If you don’t have real maple syrup you can always substitute sugar or brown sugar. Just mix everything together except the butter, and add the butter slowly at the end.
Devin is talking up a storm. I just wanted to write down some of the words he knows before there are too many to count! Speaking of counting, Devin can count to ten now all by himself!
No – this is a big one. He knows how to say it, but not how to obey it.
Wa-Wa or Watie (Water)
Splash (very important for bathtime)
Go (Go Dog Go book)
It (Very Quiet Cricket book)
Ham (Green eggs and Ham)
Shirt (sounds like SH*T)
Shoot (repeats when daddy says SH*T)
Careful (when he’s playing)
Just some home movies… Mostly shot during Thanksgiving and Christmas 2006.

I’m really sick right now, but I’m getting through it. The doctor says I have a double ear infection. I’m still getting around and trying new things. Last night Mom and Dad let me feed myself! I love mac n cheese, so I was really motivated to get that stuff in my mouth. I’m also letting some words fly, but my favorite is still UH OH! I love getting my picture taken – so here ya go:

My favorite game right now is chasing Mom down the hall. Today she had a video camera, and I tried to eat it!
See me Go!
